What is the advantage of slamming of brazing? |
 |
In slamming process, aluminum and stainless steel sheet are heated up to 400 -500°C and pressed under huge forces enabling the aluminum material to integrate with the small pores on the steel surface creating an almost 100% bonded area. There won't be any medium between due to such a large bonded area, and also both its heat conduction and bonding strength are superior to the brazed ones. |
